The principal aim of this website is to engage society in theological reflection about the created order and the cosmos. For most of Western history since the birth of Jesus, many societies have engaged in such reflection and pondered the redemptive work of the Messiah in the world. This constituted an unprecedented Constantinian age of the Church where a Christian world view dominated much of the Western world. However, in this Post-Englightment, Post-Christian world, such dialogue has all but disappeared outside of what theologians William Willimon and Stanley Hauerwas describe as Christian colonies. This website is designed to encourage you to think theologically about the world, its Divine origins and ultimate purpose. Explore the rich, Apostolic doctrines of the Christian tradition, ponder the reflections, consider the arguments made in the academic essays and sermons. Like the patriarch Jacob, don't be afraid to wrestle with God, for you too may see God and live. Welcome to "Thinking Theologically."

Thinking Theologically is the brainchild of pastor, theologian, poet, composer, recording artist, Donald E. Williams. He is the Founder/Director of Renaissance Christian Arts Ministries and a former Assistant Vice President Compliance Officer in the banking industry. Donald earned a B.A. in English Literature from the College of William and Mary, the second oldest college in the U.S., and a Master of Divinity from Duke University. He is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree at Duke University.
